The acting program at NISS is a two year course, after which students may apply for a third project year, focusing less on classroom and group training and more on staging actual performances for theatre, TV and film.
The acting program suits everyone who aspires to become a professional actor or actress, within the theatre, TV or film.
We focus our training on the basis of realistic theatre-training. The students at NISS are given unique opportunities to participate in various projects and to collaborate with students undertaking other forms of training, like the Film- and Television course. Such collaborations enhance the understanding of interdisciplinary aspects and promote the formation of a common professional platform across the different courses of study.
All tuition will be held in Norwegian.
